This book looks at The Milwaukee Road in its home state of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Wisconsin had over 1572 miles of trackage. Its double-tracked main line between Chicago and the Twin Cities was the route of the 100 plus mph “Hiawatha” and heavy manifest freight trains. Illustrated in full color.
