Banks Lake, a 27-mile equalizing reservoir created by the Grand Coulee Dam as part of the Columbia Basin Irrigation project. Before the lake there were farms, orchards, highways, homes, businesses and more that are now under water. An interesting history of those submerged entities are covered in text and black/white photos.
