"Buy-A-Ton" Ballast Donation

One of the most critical components to constructing and maintaining a railroad is ballast.  Ballast provides the foundation to support the ties, rail, and equipment.

Fortunately, a supplier just five miles from the museum has lowered the price on ballast!  The new price for 2-inch basalt ballast is $35.00 delivered to the Inland Northwest Rail Museum in Reardan, Washington.

Our monetary goal for this “Buy-a-Ton” is $6,300 to purchase 180 tons of ballast for the phased project described below. $2,000 has already been purchased to date, another $1,600 to go to c ompldet Phase 1. 
 
If you purchase 5 tons for $175, you will receive a year membership to the museum!
